A Dozen Scenes From A Legendary First Take In Paris (inédit - 2002)
Digital download
A Dozen Scenes From A Legendary First Take In Paris is the first album ever recorded by Dean Grant in France. On this remarkable album Dean Grant sought collaboration with producer Jean-Vves d'Angelo, respected for his oeuvre with Julien Clerc, Michel Jonasz and Patrick Bruel, amongst others. Together with composer Han Kooreneef and author Cristal G., who signed both on songs as Pour un oui, pour un no and Apprends-moi, the result is a strong pop album on which we hear a young Dean Grant primarily as a singer.
This melange of songs indicates joyfully the route to his actual sound, especially recognizable in the way Dean Grant performs on Pour un oui, pour un no.
For a long time these recordings have been presumed lost. but through careful restoration it has been possible to revive the scenes.
A Dozen Scenes From A Legendary First Take In Paris gives a unique insight into his early years and is part of The Rarities Collection.
